Fried Cactus is a hand-drawn illustration studio specialising in concept and story-led work.

Using illustration to turn ideas into visuals that feel human, distinctive and easy to understand.

Working globally across branding, editorial and product to create simple, bold, concept-led visuals that add personality, clarity and recognition.

The work is guided by judgement. Deciding what to show, what to leave out, and how to express an ideas.

Process:

Every project starts with understanding what needs to be communicated.

From there I develop ideas through writing, sketching and iteration. Then refining concepts until they’re simple, clear and ready to be used across brand and product.

About Aron

I’m Aron Leah, an illustrator and founder of Fried Cactus Studio.

With over 15 years in the creative industry, I specialise in developing concept-led illustration that helps brands communicate ideas clearly and connect with people.

My work sits between the conceptual and the familiar, using simple and often playful ideas to capture moments, emotions and behaviours people recognise.

I regularly write about the role of illustration in branding, taste and authorship here.
