I worked with Creech to develop a series of illustrations for Seremoni, a US-based seafood brand redefining quality through a modern approach to the traditional ike jime method.

The aim was to create a visual language that could balance craft, quality and approachability - Supporting a wider brand identity across packaging and communication.

Hand-drawn, concept-led brand illustration used across packaging and brand identity, combining simple illustration and typography to communicate a clear and engaging visual idea.

Brief: Create a series of illustrations that could support the brand’s positioning around quality, sustainability and a new standard of seafood.

The work needed to:

  • Feel crafted and considered

  • Balance warmth with clarity

  • Work seamlessly across packaging and brand touchpoints

Seremoni’s proposition is both technical and emotional - combining a precise harvesting method with a strong focus on quality and taste.

The challenge was to create illustrations that could:

  • Communicate this without becoming overly technical

  • Sit comfortably within a refined brand system

  • Add personality without overwhelming the design

The approach focused on creating simple, concept-led illustrations that could act as a friendly and recognisable voice within the brand.

Rather than leaning into traditional or overly detailed fish illustration, the aim was to introduce something more playful and accessible, helping balance the brand’s precision with a human touch.

The work was designed to be used selectively, allowing it to support the brand without becoming overbearing.

The aim wasn’t to over-explain, but to find the simplest way to express the idea while maintaining a sense of craft and character.

The final illustrations form part of Seremoni’s wider brand system, developed by Creech, supporting packaging and communication across the business.

They help bring warmth and clarity to the brand making complex ideas more accessible while reinforcing a sense of quality and attention to detail.
