Custom illustrations for a card game teaching 50 pickleball shots and strategies.
I worked with DSS Games to create a series of hand-drawn illustrations for The Pickleball Deck, a card-based product designed to help players learn and understand different shots and strategies.
Each illustration needed to communicate a specific movement or tactic quickly and clearly, while maintaining a consistent visual style across the deck.

The challenge was to turn a wide range of pickleball movements and strategies into simple, easy-to-understand illustrations.
Using minimal linework, clear positioning and subtle visual cues, I developed illustrations that communicate movement and gameplay without unnecessary detail.
The finished collection forms part of a 50-card system, combining practical instruction with playful, characterful artwork designed to be easily recognised during play.
