The Pickleball Deck (DSS Games)
I was commissioned by DSS Games to create a full set of illustrations for The Pickleball Deck – 50 Shots + Strategies to Pickle Your Friends!.
Working alongside the DSS creative team and professional player Tanner Tomassi, I developed a series of bold, hand-drawn illustrations to visualise each of the 50 pickleball shots and strategie, from beginner to advanced levels.
The goal was to capture the energy and humour of pickleball while keeping the artwork clear, engaging, and easy to understand for players of all abilities. Each illustration was crafted to reflect the movement and rhythm of the game in a way that felt lively and accessible.
The final deck combines fun gameplay with practical instruction, helping players learn new skills while enjoying the sport’s social and light-hearted side. It’s now available via DSS Games’ online store and selected retailers.
