New Balance commissioned me to create a series of hand-drawn illustrations for its seasonal lifestyle and sportswear collections.

The artwork needed to bring humour, personality and movement into the designs while remaining recognisably part of the New Balance brand.

I explored ways to incorporate the New Balance logo directly into the illustrations, making it part of the visual idea rather than simply adding it afterwards.

The concepts combined sport, movement and playful visual metaphors, including one design exploring the familiar question of what came first: the chicken or the sneaker?

The finished illustrations were created for apparel, balancing expressive artwork with simple, wearable designs that retained a clear connection to the brand.
